Pouring a perfect Guinness is not as easy as it may look. Achieving the perfect pint involves a two-step pouring process, which leaves a dark velvety beer sitting beneath a smooth and creamy white head that is engraved with a clover. Any true Irishmen will tell you that this 119.5-second process really is an art.
Guinness was first invented by Arthur Guinness 1759 in Dublin, Ireland. Much like this decadent beer's pouring process, its ingredients have remained the same to this day: roasted barley, hops, yeast, and water.
We at Kelly O'Bryan's respect and appreciate this ancient art. For this reason, today our staff and friends participated in a perfect pour class and were certified by a Guinness representative.
We would love you to come down and let us pour you a perfect pint of Guinness- topped with a clover for good luck.
